University represents innovative, training, scientific, methodical and advice center of a system of agrarian formation of the East Siberian region of Russia.

The University includes 7 institutes:

• Institute of Land Management, Cadasters and Environmental Engineering
• Institute of Engineering Systems and Power
• Institute of Food Production
• Institute of Economics and AIC Management
• Institute of Law
• Institute of Applied Biotechnologies and Veterinary Medicine
• Institute of Agroecological Technologies

Krasnoyarsk State University has state accreditation for higher education programs (bachelor's degree, specialty, master's degree, postgraduate) and secondary vocational education.

WE have 3 research centers:

• The research and testing center
• The research center for breeding and original seed production, a scientific and educational center for processing technology of oilseeds; as well as a technology transfer center
• The engineering center equipped with modern equipment and staffed by qualified specialists

Nowadays the university has: thirteen educational and laboratory buildings; a separate library building; a catering plant; an educational and production center with a garage and workshops; a building of an educational and sports complex of horse breeding with a competitive field; a building of a research and testing center.

Seven dormitories of the university provide the full need of nonresident students and postgraduates.
